Hot-Dip Galvanized U-Bolts

Hot-dip galvanized U-bolts are primarily used to secure pipes, cable trays, ducts, and supports to beams, columns, or foundation slabs. These hot-dip galvanized U-bolts are often used with clamping plates or flat steel, with clamping force generated by the threaded nuts at both ends. In outdoor water supply and drainage pipelines, petrochemical pipe racks, power cable trenches, and offshore platform pipe racks, hot-dip galvanized U-bolts, with their advantageous shape and excellent corrosion resistance, have become the preferred fastener for pipe clamp support systems. While ordinary U-bolts rust outdoors within months, hot-dip galvanized U-bolts can be used for over 10 years in humid, salt spray, and weakly acidic/alkaline environments.

Product Feature

Fully Enclosed Corrosion Protection: Both the inner and outer sides of the U-shaped bend receive a uniform hot-dip galvanized layer, eliminating the problems of excessive current at the tip or insufficient coating on the inner surface common in electroplating.

Dimensional Accuracy: Strict control over the parallelism and center distance tolerances of the two legs ensures no additional stress is generated when mating with pipes or channel steel. Thread length can be customized according to the clamping thickness.

Anti-loosening Equipment: Typically comes with a hot-dip galvanized hexagonal nut and a hot-dip galvanized flat washer; hot-dip galvanized spring washers or double nuts are optional. The threads are coated with an anti-seize coating for easy disassembly and maintenance.

Wide Range of Applications: Suitable for various cross-sectional shapes such as round pipes, square cable ducts, flexible hoses, and corrugated pipes; pipe diameters from DN15 to DN600 can be customized.
