Hot-Dip Galvanized Bolts

Hot-Dip Galvanized Bolts are corrosion-resistant fasteners made from ordinary high-strength or carbon steel hexagonal bolts, treated with a hot-dip galvanizing process. These Hot-Dip Galvanized Bolts are widely used in steel structure connections exposed to corrosive environments, such as outdoor power transmission line towers, communication base stations, streetlight poles, traffic signal brackets, and chemical platforms. By immersing the bolts in molten zinc, a dense zinc-iron alloy layer and a pure zinc layer are formed on the surface of the Hot-Dip Galvanized Bolts, providing cathodic protection to the substrate. Compared to ordinary painted or electroplated galvanized bolts, Hot-Dip Galvanized Bolts have a longer service life in humid, salt spray, and industrial atmospheric environments.

Excellent corrosion resistance: The zinc plating thickness is typically 50~100μm, and it can withstand over 500~1000 hours of neutral salt spray testing without developing red rust.

Strong alloy bonding layer: The zinc-iron alloy layer formed by thermal diffusion is metallurgically bonded to the steel substrate, providing far superior impact and wear resistance compared to electroplating, and is less prone to peeling during installation.

Economical and long-lasting: While the initial cost is slightly higher than electroplating, the total cost over the entire lifespan is extremely low, making it suitable for large-scale outdoor projects.
