Product Feature
Zero Hydrogen Embrittlement Safety: Wheel bolts are typically grade 10.9 or 12.9, extremely sensitive to hydrogen embrittlement. The Dacromet coating process prevents hydrogen ion penetration throughout, eliminating the need for hydrogen removal and fundamentally eliminating the risk of delayed fracture.
Stable Torque Coefficient: The Dacromet coating has a stable coefficient of friction. Combined with a dedicated lubricant, it ensures the accuracy of preload during wheel bolt torque installation.
Wear and Scratch Resistance: The coating achieves high hardness after high-temperature sintering, making it less prone to scratches when mating with rim taper holes or flange surfaces during installation. Its corrosion resistance does not significantly decrease after repeated disassembly and reassembly.
Aesthetic Consistency: The uniform and aesthetically pleasing matte silver-gray surface, with no color difference, meets the requirements for overall vehicle appearance consistency.
Compatibility with Aluminum Wheels: The Dacromet coating eliminates the risk of galvanic corrosion when in contact with aluminum alloy wheels, avoiding the bimetallic corrosion problems associated with traditional galvanized bolts and aluminum wheels.
